RENT
INCREASE PROPOSAL FOR 2012/13
In August
2009, after full consultation with tenants, the Board agreed to a rent setting
policy that moved away from basing the annual rent increase on inflation, which
changes all the time, to a base increase of 3%. This meant that your actual
rent increase would vary around a guiding level of 3%, sometimes higher,
sometimes lower.
In April
2010 the rent increase was held at the 3% and in April 2011 the Board, aware of
the increasing financial pressures on tenants, held the rents with no increase
at all and took steps to improve the Partnership’s efficiency.
WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF OUR PROPOSAL – see the attached link Rent Proposal Flyer.pdf
