Our Tenant Participation strategy was subject to external review in 2005 by the Tenants’ Participation Advisory Service, TPAS, who found that:- "The Partnership has a tenant participation strategy that sets out its aims and objectives for developing tenant participation, keeping tenants informed and creating opportunities for consultation".

In February 2005, the revised strategy was approved by the Board and is currently being implemented. We are working to establish a Register of Interested Tenants to consult with on a number of issues and continue to publish our twice-yearly newsletter. Copies of the revised strategy have been sent to every tenant and our second Customer Satisfaction Survey was undertaken in May 2005.

West Lothian Housing Partnership is very keen to encourage active tenant participation and has been working with West Lothian Council and TPAS to encourage tenants and residents in Boghall and in Blackburn to set up Tenants' and Residents' Groups.
